Trying to remove Door Panel

I've got to get to the power window linkage inside the driver side door on my 1980 300D. I've been able to remove the door panel from everywhere except where the inside door handle is. I can't seem to figure out how to get the whole panel off. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Under the door handle is a thin black plastic cover that has to be removed, then you will find a single philips head screw. Use a thin screwdriver to pry the plastic cover off starting around the edge where there is a small notch, I believe its at the front edge, then peel it out (carefully).

Did you loosen the panel at the bottom front, around the doorpocket?
Most people going in unknowingly bust off the mouting tabs on the doorpocket, its supposed to slide into and out of a groove in the door, not popped out like the rest of the mounting clips around the panel.
