Mounting
My bumper has prefab holes in the rubber spaced, recessed and just beggin for my license plate to be mounted there.
However, there's no room for a nut. Right now I'm using draw ties - but the bumper is in my basement, so it's not too cheesy. What am I missing to do it right? Thanks, T

Assuming you are talking about the front, you are missing the bracket that bolts under the bumper and holds the plate.

I've been wondering about that too. The rubber strip with the licensed shaped recess seems totally separate from the shin scraping bracket that bolts under the bumper.

It is separate, but the two holes (more or less) line up with the upper license plate mounting screws when its aligned correctly.

I have the bracket. But the thing is crude. And shin scraping is right.
I think I'll figure out some other method. Preferably one that uses that recess to its potential.
