My thoughts exactly.

Wonder what it does to the fuel economy?

BTW....it is NOT a brush guard. Its a deer catcher.

Cheers,

Bill

You guys can laugh and jeer all you want but that brush guard car looks pretty good to me. Especially with blacked out grill and trim, emblem sawed off. An admirable and fine looking vehicle. Exactly NOT the kinda car that appeals to snobs. More of a working man's Benz and thats what makes it cool. I'll betcha folks see it everyday and even wonder what kinda car it is.

Meanwhile the annual 123club Car Show was held this weekend at St.Louis. Everybody had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Huge attendance that included an immaculate time capsule 4-spd 240D with just 4,000 miles. Euro cars too. And even a custom convertible/restoration in progress built on what had been a burned out fire-damaged 300CD body shell. And one of the awards categories was for "original customization" - imagine that!

where I came from, they call that a deer killer...
What else do you do when you catch them?
It's not like "catch & release" saturday morning fishing...

BTW, her name is "Venny" and she's in the freezer.

"Catcher" becasue it catches them before they smash into your radiator.

"Killer" works for me too.

Cheers,

The add says, " I have been meticulous with the maintenance on this car, and the previous two owners were the same way."

W123's, 1st and 2nd (detuned M110 motors). Tell me that was a paved course. Sorry, I don't remember what year... 1978??
