Talking 81 300D time machine....

Just brought home Brownie. Its original maintinence and manuals in place
in the original MB plastic bag with the original service records and the original metal owner tag and the original turn stalk hanger tags and
the original tire warranty tag. (sorry for the run on sentence)
Unbelievable! only 102k on the clock and so clean inside and out.
the AC still blows cold. I do have a vacuum problem in the cabin
as the controls do nothing. The transmission flares (TS to the tranny control
switch levers, on order from dieselgiant). Runs fantastic! Absolutely no smoke! Will definitely have fun working out the kinks and using her....

You will practically go broke resolving the tranny issue and the vacuum leak problems. You should sell the car to me.

Talking

Had to go to a funeral today so Ill get pics up tomorrow.
The body is in descent shape. a few dents and I think something fell
on the hood. I have a guy with some parts cars so that shouldnt be a problem to take care of. Ill get a shot of the documentation as well.
I have a thought that this was a donation car. The inspection reciept
was from the local donation garage.......
