Makes me feel alot better about the hole that I put in my transmission when I dropped a nut in there and it promptly exited out the bottom on startup!

I lost one of my vlave cover nuts, leaked a quart of oil on the way to school and back, and went to lowes to get a temp. replacement until I can go to the junk yard to get an official MB nut

And they did not have a spare? I guess the mark up on a 50 cents worth of hardware prevented them buying a spare.

How many have I dropped, that decided to run and hide? Lost count a long time ago. Luckily I have not dropped any in an engine or tranny yet...
