Oil leak

Here are some pictures of the small oil leak from the oil pressure line. Lots of good carpet ruined

In picture six, see how the rubber coating on the oil pressure line is peeled back? Is that supposed to be that way? I'm averaging (roughly) 1 qt/1000 miles . At least it's not from blowby.
It's also quite hot when it comes out (all over my shoes...)

Loose fitting or cracked line. Check, but start looking for a replacement line....
