300D transmission mount?

I've searched here and elsewhere to have this question answered: In a 1983 300D Turbo, what is the difference in and application for the two different transmission mounts that the parts store here offers:

The one on my car now (which is way far gone) does NOT have the oval tube, but then again, the car had green antifreeze in it when I bought it

Is the oval tube version heavy-dutier? Me no know, but in the spirit of "measure twice, cut once", I thought I would avail myself of the vast knowledge that prowls these pages!

Just did my 240d today, there is a bolt that goes through that oval tube. There was a bracket that goes between the mount and the cross member and the bolt holds it all together. If you look at the one on your car, you should be able to see if there is a bolt through the middle. Good Luck, Chuck
