Widgets wanted: 75 300D - alt bracket, turn sig. switch, and Advice!

Hi all..

75 300D..
Model 115.114
Engine: 617.910

I need
1. alt bracket (w/ bolt)
2. turn sig. switch
3. motor for pwr window (driver's window)

And advice...

1. Couldn't (can't) figure out the power problem on the powered windows. I don't get power into fuse 17/18 (right firewall) that leads to the windows. Couldn't figure out where the power line was coming from. It goes under the dash on the pass. side and crosses to the drivers side but from there I couldn't find it without pulling all of the wiring out.

Ran power directly to the fuses and 3 of the 4 windows work fine (except the driver's)..

2. Engine stop... It keeps going and going and .. well you get the idea. From what I understand (from pouring through the manuals I've got) I think the valve for this car is down underneath somewhere near the oil filter. I've had someone indicate that it was up near the injectors but I can't find it.. I just replaced the diaphrams on the vacuum pump.. I'm awaing my vacuum tester to see how much vacuum I have in the lines but it does 'suck'.
If anyone has better pics of what I'm looking for..
Speaking of the vacuum pump what kind of oil should go in the base? All the manual says is multi-viscosity or some such..

3. The power steering resovoir.. Black canister in front of the Brake resovoir??? It not labeled, there's no filter in it but it does appear to feed the power steering pump (located on the bottom of engine near battery). There's not much fluid in it (which scares me) but the power steering works ok..

4. Does anyone have a source of a 14 mm allen wrench (for the oil plug).. a 14 mm allen socket would be better.. I can't find anyone that carries one.

5. I need to replace the alternator belt during this 'overall'. Of course I have to remove the other belts to do that. The waterpump/A/C belt isn't too bad. But getting to the bolts on the Power Steering pump to loosen that belt doen't look fun at all.. Any hints?

almost forgot #6...
Fuse 4.. Shorted out.. There are 2 out wires coming off the fuse are both are shorted to ground somewhere (I'm guessing in the steering column).
Horns don't work and turn signals don't work. Wierd thing is that the emergency flashers do work and the wipers (also on the turn sig. switch) work.. I'm hoping that a replacement turn sig. switch is the fix. Opinons on this also welcome.

Thanks in advance

As a new Vintage MB owner, I'm very glad this forum (and all of you) are here.
