Wastegate request (Brian, Lance) ?
I have a AirResearch T# turbo n my 80 SD, and I did a boost test today with a small guage and it's putting out 6lbs of boost.
does ANYONE hav a pictorial version of the procedures of adjusting the wastegate? Also, my ALDA.....does plugging the hose going to the ALDA do the same thing as removing it?

I don think you can adjust the waste gate...you have to get a boost controller.
As for the ALDA, plugging the line will decease performance as the ALDA will think you are constantly running at low boost and will decrease fuel accordingly.

Sorry, to correct yoy, but the T3 can be adjusted, it's just a difficult messy job...and I have the procedures, but some photos would be help full.. and thanks doe the ALDA advice, I was going to remove it, I just thought I'd try the line plugging first..

I should get my eyes checked
I just re-read the "schuman" version without photos and they're the exact same procedure, I just needed photos to visualize the procedure in my mind...it looks like a piece of cake. thanks anyway!
oh, that link is MUCH more clearer than the "schuman" one....
