Factory Floor Mat question.
Hello All,
I just wondered if any you have any experience with these floor mats on eBay. Are they truly factory floor mats or do they match correctly to the original carpet color for a '83-'84 300D http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-FACTORY-CARPET-MATS-123-300D-DIESEL-240D-TD-CD_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ42612QQihZ019QQitemZ290040721340QQrdZ1 Thanks Richard

it is hard to be sure but they do look like factory mats and in the correct palimino color.

This seller's cheaper -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-OEM-MERCEDES-BENZ-CARPET-FLOOR-MATS-1968-ON_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33697QQihZ003QQitemZ130038958223QQtcZphoto I got a set for the SD and they look good. The carpet is dirtier than the mats so color match is close but not perfect. Sixto 93 300SD |

I've thought about similar mats for my 124, but noticed one thing. My mats don't have that little Mercedes star in the lower corner, and the replacement w124 OEM ones do ... did they add the star later or do I have weird mats? They're otherwise identical. Little details like that bother me.

The set I got is flat mats that fit over the molded carpet. Without the mats I got the floor is still fully covered.

Do you know of anywhere to get the molded carpets new?

You can try www.worlduph.com but I don't think they have molded carpets for every car. I believe the carpet pieces are cut to shape but you have to shape them.
The MB Classic center might be able to help but I don't have their contact info. What for? I know I can't afford anything they sell Sixto 93 300SD Last edited by sixto; 10-20-2006 at 02:35 PM. |

Adsit has the interior carpet w/ soundproofing.
Adsit Co. has them. Prepare for sticker shock. Their prices are fair and they are an excellent, reputable company, but interior pieces like this are NOT inexpensive.
