Glow plug

Dear Brian, thanks for the response. I look at the engine layout on my 96 E300, the EGR valve is on the left side, from looking at the pictures on the attached link on this 98 E300, it seems like the egr in on the right side, am I mistaken ? Do you think the layout of the engine is the same?

By the way, I just replaced the right rear window regulator this morning using one of the DIY link. It works wondefull. I am glad to be part of this forum.

Regards,

Thach

As far as glow plug removal and extraction, the process is identical........the engine is identical. The '98 is turbocharged so some of it's auxiliaries may be in different locations.

Be very careful with this process..........if you break one........it's a very costly mistake.

The only difference with the NA 606 is the removal of the crossover pipe before removal of the manifold. It will add a few minutes to the job.
