Are All OM617 turbo manifolds the same?

Y'all,

I plan on installing an EGT gauge and having my exhaust manifold Jet-Hot coated, but want to minimize downtime by acquiring spares to do the mods on and swap those in. I can obtain an intake & exhaust manifold off a junkyard W123 (unsure of the vintage) and want to make sure they'll work on my '84 300td. Are all the manifolds the same, or do they at least have the correct form/fit/function?

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

The 617-95X (the 5 cylinder turbo diesel- non turbo diesels have a different intake) intake manifolds from the w116 from the years 78-79 have no EGR- all 617-95X 1980 and post 1980 have a Exhaust Gas Recirculation device. They are the same in all other aspects.

Shawn, as long as it's from a turbo 617 engine, it should work, Paul.

Thanks, Y'all! The junkyard engine in question is definitely a turbo 617 w/ EGR.
