HELP!! Checking Fuel Pump W210

I need to check the fuel pump on my 99 E300TD.
Im searching and searching but I can't find any posts about it.
Anybody know the best way to check the fuel pump I think it may be clogged/bad.

Sam,
List some of the symptoms your car is having, so people can come up with ideas for you. In your car, look for fuel "clogs " in the pre and cannister filter
or in the tank if you have been running with really bad fuel. By "fuel pump"
I'm assuming you mean Injection Pump, which is attached to your engine. You probably won't have any DIY parts in there. Also, state where you are,
if it's reaaly cold, that may contribute to your problems.

Steve -
The car has a fuel pump and an injection pump right?
I really just need to know how to check the fuel pump to see if it has pressure.

Thanks

There's a lift pump attached to the injection pump. It pulls fuel through the prefilter and pushes it through the main filter.

Have you tried a diesel purge? (See this link).

If you are not getting any fuel circulation it might not be a bad lift pump - most likely it is air leaking in near the prefilter O-ring. I think you are not finding much information on the lift pump since they tend to last quite a long time.
