Sea Foam and Canola Oil

So I was in my home town for thanksgiving and I was working on the Mercedes. I had some time to kill so I went to the parts store to look for some Diesel Purge. Well they didn't have it. But they did have Sea Foam. So I got some just to try it out. I read the back and it said to add it to the fuel. I wanted to do a high concentration shot of it thought my engine, not dilute it in my fuel. So I stopped at the Safeway and got a bottle of Canola Oil. I poured about 1/4th of the bottle of oil into another bottle and filled that with the Sea Foam. I then got some 5/16 fuel line and ran it to the Canola Oil bottle just like you would do with the juice bottle for Diesel Purge. I ran the car off the Sea Foam and Canola Oil mixture for about 30 min. I drove it around town... It was awesome. Once the bottle ran out I changed both my filters and hooked it back up to the fuel tank.

Other then just a good waste of an hour while up at my Dads I also noticed that my car starts a lot better in the cold. It had been having some hard starts, but after the Sea Foam and Canola Oil it starts smooth.
