Here I am dressed for church:

And this one should spark some questions, I'm the one that does not look like Gary Coleman:

And finally, mein hunde. Donnie-named after Theodore Donald Karavatsos, from The Big Lebowski:

It's nice to meet everybody!

Here is a recent portrait painting demonstration. I pretended nobody was watching.

This is the one I was looking for-with my shop smock and special "bump cap" on-I'm still not used to an MB hood hanging down so low, plus I'm too damned tall and no longer have the hair on top of my head to warn me injury is imminent:

Gaw, two years of injuries have left me quite corpulent-inside I'm very sexy, I assure you all.

... you do know about the release levers on the hinges to let the hood stand straight up? Eh?

the w126,w123,w124 hoods(and others) have a feature that makes the helmet uneccessary.... on the hood hinges there is a little tab on each side.. depress the tab on each side and then push the hood to a complete 90 degree upright stand...

viola.. no more head aches and it makes pulling an engine sooo easy

autobot or decpticon?

Thanks for that info-I really had no idea, seems like no matter how much I learn I'm still a newbie. It will help 'cause being as tall as I am is a pain working under the hood.

I'll still need the helmet for eating though, so I don't stab myself with a fork...and for when I ride the bus.

Even if you put your hood straight up, it looks like you'll still require your helmet to prevent hitting your head on the gutter!

Hah! yeah it's pretty low there-the previous homeowner was about four foot nothing so it mattered little...obviously the F250 does not make it into the garage. Though, with two Harleys and my DR650 in there for the winter, neither does Greta.
