77 300D What's it worth
I ran across a 77 300D today. 153K on the clock, non-turbo, auto ,good interior, a little rust on right rear quarter, has been sitting for at least 2 years, have no idea if it will run, no key. It is tied up in an estate, I offered $250 as is. Interior should be worth that.

$250 is a good start. If you do buy it, take the bill of sale or title, your DL and the VIN and the MB dealer can make or order a key. Here in TX you have to have tour DL, Title or bill of sale and VIN before the dealer will do anything. All the ID is because of cars being stolen due to "owners" "losing keys".

We have a local locksmith who is a Mercedes enthusiast and says he can cut a key for it. He has the machine to cut the keys for my SDs.
