subframe question

will a rear subframe from a 85 280 se fit a 83 sd...... steve

Probably so but, you can also check the Russian EPC and x-ref part numbers to confirm compatibility.

It looks like the subframes prior to 9/85 are the same and would probably swap. After 9/85 the subframes had what looks like an anti-torque arm added to the assembly.
First attachment is pre 9/85; second attachment is post 9/85.

R Leo, thanks so much, It looks like pre 9/85 is what I am looking at in the car I'm going to buy, the epc is great, steve
