ATE & Bendix -- Differences in Miscellaneous Parts?

Y'all,

I've dutifully searched the archives and understand that I can install ATE calipers in place of my Bendix calipers on the front of my '84 300td and that the pads are the same (despite differing P/Ns, depending on the source).

Now that I know the form/fit/function is the same, what about the miscellaneous little parts like anti-rattle clips and/or pins? The Bendix calipers on my car use pins and anti-rattle clips -- what do the ATE calipers use? Are there any blow-up diagrams available on the web?

FWIW, the http://www.detali.ru/ site only shows this and lists "Bendix" and "Teves"...

TIA,
Shawn

I believe the pins are the same, but not the a-r clips. ATE uses a one piece (which I prefer), while Bendix uses the two little clips that put pressure on one another (I could never figure out how they installed, so mine got pitched.) Hope this helps!

it is the pins that are different. the anti rattle springs may be the same.

Matt is correct. the pins and the clips are different. however, I think you can switch either type to either caliper. I like the bendix style best. to each his own.

I know for a fact the clips are different (between ATE and Bendix at least), because I replaced my ATE's with the Bendix, and the clip from the ATE DID NOT fit the Bendix. The pins from the ATE fit the Bedix just fine.
