98 E300 Key fob and alarm going NUTS !

my wife's 98 wont unlock doors with the electronic key and if I use the mechanical key the alarm would go ff even after inserting the key in ignition and starting the car

things I don't to stop alarm temporary

Take 40 amp fuse off the under rear seat box it stops horn from going on but not lights from blinking

dis connect and reconnect the vacuum pump would stop alarm and doors would work for a couple of minutes and goes bock to crazy no open mode

I know there may have been water in there but you think the pump is shot ? can I disarm the alarm all together ?


There was a thread here I read a while back about this problem but cant find it in the search anymore !
