Such a beautiful car. Double glass in the doors? Never knew that!
Is this 3.5 liter also succeptable to the "rod bending" issues we hear so much about?
My indy mechanic's inlaws have one of those that he keeps up. He was rebuilding tranny a year and a half ago if memory serves......
He said they are truly nice cars, and that is a nice example.

is this new? or am I just missing out on ebay's changes?
As the internet evolves, eBay continues to strike a balance between preserving transparency and protecting our Community of members. eBay has decided to change how bid history information is displayed so bad guys cannot target bidders with fake offers using this information. In certain cases, some bidders will no longer be able to view Bidder User IDs on the Bid History page. Your User ID will be shown only to you and the seller of the item you're bidding on. Other members will see an anonymous name, such as Bidder 1, applied consistently to the Bid History page.
all bidders are now hidden???
this sucks...

I've noticed that a lot on ebay car listings. At first i thought it was a group of the same people...Bidder 1, Bidder 6...but I read what you read. it's not like that on all car auctions, so I think it's seller's preference.

Yeah my dad had an S420 for a little while. Super nice, smooth ride. The double-pane windows really made a big difference. Also had the "close the door for you" on all the doors.

Man that thing was one engine problem after another though, it was in the shop more than he drove it.

Have I missed something previously? That is the first eBay listing I have seen
with background music.

Good choice of music for this car....
Think its the whole song.
Love the seats. The seller can see who is bidding. I think this change started about a month ago. Its got to be difficult to get a hold on all of the problems on ebay. You have people winning bids with no intention of buying the car. Just kids playing.

After going from a 82 to 87 wagon, I'd like to drive something like this.

That said, IMO not a good thing. those first aid kit guts don't last forever and I found out the hard way. Road rash from a bike crash and I needed some of the big bandages + antiseptic wipes. All dried out, all useless.

If y'all look at your kits as more than a novelty, think about updating the bandaids, etc. ever 5 years or so.

You have not missed anything. Herbert does that music thing with all his sales. He typically presents some very nice cars. I do wish he would ditch the music with his ads though.

Actually, I went out to look at mine, just for kicks and holy poop...mine has not been "molested" either. I could care less for novelty, so i will be replacing anything thats needed. it will more than likely sit in my glovebox instead of going in the first aid kit though. That is weird though. I wonder how many of these kits never even get opened.

dont use anything from your first aid kit!!! gosh, its only sole purpose is to know that you have a original first aid kit, duh. good luck finding a completely unmolested first aid kit on ebay, that will cost you a ton.
