Ditto, Phil at Fastlane is a great guy. Ship to Hawaii via USPS Priority mail unless it's something heavy. For glow plugs you can also try napa, I used to get stuff like that special order through the navy base auto center. Chuck

The man is extremely honest, and shipping is always lightning fast. 9 times out of 10 his prices beat everybody else's.

Umm. No offense, I realize that I'm new here, but I don't see a reason why I can't list a hugely reputable parts supplier. I'm not sure what his role is in the Mercedes community, as this is my first venture into it, but coming from the BMW world, Steve is an avid BMW enthusiast, is a local Peachtree Chapter BMWCCA sponsor, 5erFest sponsor, and gives great forum discounts. I'm sure if he knew of this forum, he may be willing to step up to the plate here as well.

IDK Who he ships thru, but I've never been charge shipping, and it usually arrives next day, even when I lived up in NY.

I've heard Autolite GP's are low quality. Available at Autozone. Attempt Bosch, from sources above.

Well.. Phil IS THE MAN.. He is paying the bill here. I've been nothing but amazed with how fast his service is. For those of you east coast guys that think he will be slow shipping, being from CA... THINK AGAIN.

I've actually got stuff NEXT DAY. He must have a distributor out east.

He does, I often get parts overnight with regular shipping.

thats interesting, Worldpac has a warehouse over in new england as well? My parts come from 2 hours away so most of my stuff is next day if ordered before 4 or 2 days if ordered after.

Phil not only carries nearly everything we need, but is very prompt to help you find parts that are not listed in his catalog. If you need something, but don't see it in his list, email him and he usually replies by saying "yes I have that and it's OEM".

When I go to local auto stores, I choose Napa Auto Parts. They don't have too much of what I need for the MB, but they've got the basics (Bosch GPs). When I need MB-specific stuff that I can't find at Napa, but need it right away (vs. ordering from Phil), then I go to my local MB indy shop.
