2.2 to 2.5 Conversion for 190D

Help! I have an 1985 190D with a 2.2 engine. The engine has 300K and leaks everything. It is labor intensive to fix so I want to put in a 2.5 engine. Does anyone know what kind of problems I will face? The dealer told me the 2.2 and 2.5 have different flywheels, but will the 2.5 even bolt up to my 5 spd tranny?

If you did a conversion can you please help? Or direct me to your mechanic? I would be in your debt.

Ric
