Hi-Beam won't work on passenger side.

I have a 1986 300SDL that the Hi-beam head light on the passenger side quit working, The light in the dash lit up telling me that I had a blown bulb at about the same time the high beam indicator light quit working. So I'm thinking no big deal it's a dual element bulb and hi-beam is burn out. I get a bulb and replace it still no hi-beam. Bad bulb ? I try another still dosen't work. Suggestions to point me in the right direction PLEASE .

Check your fuses. Maybe the one for that high beam is out.

Remove and replace fuse #13. Clean the contacts before installing the new fuse.

Do not look at the fuse or evaluate it. Just replace it and report back.

You hit it right on the nose, I replaced # 13 and Hi-beam on the passenger side and the indicator light in the dash lit up like it should. Thank you so much you saved me a bunch of time by putting my hand on it. THANK YOU .
