81-300SD Oil Cooler Line leak

My 81-300SD (220K) lower cooler line is leaking about a drop or two once I stop. I have read some of the threads and I guess I need to change them.

The question that was not clearly answered in the threads is: Can you change the lines without lifting the motor and shock?

I am also worried about stripping the line on the oil cooler...which I cannot afford to replace right now. I would PB Blast them, but they seem to strip easily, according to the threads on the subject.
