fianlly got rid of EGR!!!!!

well today i finally got around to removing my egr this evening.I used sheet metal and jp weld to finish it up.
just one question. I just pulled the 2 vacum lines from the "temp sensor"?, it is ok to leaave it at that " meaning the 2, 3/8 inch peaces are just sitting exposed, or should i plug them

plug them.

edit: nevermind, I thought you were talking about the line going to the EGR.

I would have used copper RTV sealent.. JB weld really isnt going to hold up to the heat..

it good for around 700*, so, i guess just leave them unplugged?

iknow, iknow, but my setup actually looks just like that on the exhaust port, i went out tonight and got some sealent for manifolds, and continued my install at 9:30 at night in the snow,fun!fun!fun!

That is a thing of beauty right there. I want one. Right now I've got a piece of scrap I pulled off an extra dryer vent that I cut into the gasket pattern and mounted inbetween the ugly thing. But that right there is nice.
