I don't know about elsewhere but diesel has suddenly become the cheap alternative to gas. For the longest time diesel was priced between regular unleaded and premium. Now it's cheaper than reg. I just filled up at truck/car stop, diesel was $1.47 and 87 octane gasoline was $1.53. My other car requires 91 oct. or higher, and around here that's running about $1.65 a gal. So I think I'll be driving the old diesel more.
