Special socket "star" tool??

I have a leak in my 87 300d's injector pump. The bolts below the bolts that hold the injector rails to the injector pump appear to be leaking. I bought the new seals and went to install them. In my other "older" diesels, there was a regular bolt and on this car there is a "star"ish (with many more edges) bolt that I can't "get a hold of".

I called the dealer for the socket tool, but they told me "they can't look up tool part numbers". They also told me the seals are leaking due to the new low sulfur fuels......so they don't be willing to help me out.

DOES ANYONE KNOW what the part number for the tool is or anyone around Austin, TX have the tool? It is a special socket tool with many more teeth.

Thanks.....

They're 20 years old is the reason they're leaking because of ULSD.

Found the tool number anyone have it?

So it was that part number....

http://www.startekinfo.de/etools/content/tool.jsp?toolno=617%20589%2001%2009%2000

is a link giving the tool part number and actually shows a drawing of the pump.

Anyone in Austin, TX have one I can barrow? $60 is how much I have found it for so far.

32 splined socket

Sounds like what you're talking about is the 32 splined socket. You can find them here on this forum or ebay. They're like $30 or something. You can find a nice DIY article on this forum, too, one written by yours truly.
