I put in new homemade hood pad, that did sem to help....but it was still too loud for me.
I had a large chunk of 3/4" to 1" thick foam rubber....I cut that up and put under the carpet like a pad...under the seats...and stuffed the rear hatch full! THAT make it much BETTER! And I make a new "gasket" for the hole where the steering wheel column comes through the fire wall....used this aluminum tar backed roof patching material and cut to suit.

Goodyear ComfortTred tires
Not sure of the spelling, but they reduce road tire noise by 20%, and absorb 20% more of the bumps. Something in the special rubber and/or construction of the tire. It's about time someone's thinking!!
