I Have A 86 300 Sdl Need To Know What Cars I Can Pick Up Parts From. Thank Fr Your Help.

I've never seen such a list for any car, but I have used parts manuals to divine the information.

many of the interior bits from the w126 will fit.. the engine and its drive system is a different matter

What parts do you need, engine related, body, or interior.

Interior, you have quite a few choices, best bet is a 420 or 560 SEL, but some of the SE's and SD's will work fine, If its got reclining rear seats, you can only use ones that have the recline feature, other wont fit without mods.

Engine, limited to 87 300d, 86 and 87 300 SDL, perhaps some 190Ds & early 90s 300 SD, 350 SD's

I have a catalog that might help. it just takes a little looking back and forth to get your answers. I've got a catalog from performance products that list most of the parts for a lot of the Mercedes. By flipping from the 126 section to the 123 section you can compare there part numbers to make a comparison. Go on performanceproducts4benz.com They will send you a catolog. I use it sometimes to identify parts that are being discussed in the forum. RAY M
