Best day ever.

Today I went to the junkyard to get some window glass for a friends Ford. I just happened to be glancing towards the import section and low and behold, a 300sd w/ Bosch Euro lights and Bosch bumper mounted foglights! Well, I think maybe I paid too much....15 bucks per headlight, and 15 for both foglights. I have never been happier with the junkyard. Does anyone have suggestions on lightbulbs?

those "fog" lights look a lot like the bumper lights from an 80's sec.

I don't know if they are simular
to the w123 but the head light/high beam
is H4 and the fogs are H3.

That car also had the vacuum adjustment. I'm kinda thinking I'm going to go back for it.

SYLVANIA - SilverStar is the highest rated in the market in about 4 or 5 different comparisons. Those white/blue lights dont work woth a crap and just make you look like a cheese ball

Don't you just love the junkyard? A couple of weeks ago I got the urge to go, just out of the blue. Hadn't been in a couple of months but I needed to kill about 3 hours in town and I didn't want to go. Boy am I glad I did because I found a euro W116 with a manual climate control that I think I'm going to snag to replace my burned out servo and a warning triangle just laying on the windshield of the car next to it. $5, and it was a very good day.

Nice lights, especially for the price. Might be poison ivy in the back ground, be careful.

Nope, just some innocent morning glory! We're lucky enough not to have poison ivy out here. Although, we do have way too much poison oak.
