Brake Booster Vacuum Question
How many times can you pump your brakes before they become stiff? I pump mine around 8-10 times and then they become really stiff...is that normal?

With the engine off, at idle, at higher rpm's?

at idle
First check I was checking at a stop light at idle...the guy behind me probably thought I was nuts. It just seems they quickly get progressively harder each time I push them at idle. I wanted to see what was normal as far as holding vacuum at idle.

I'm almost 60 so it requires more pumping before mine becomes stiff!
