Update on A/C is not working

Finlay happened,my wife was on her way to work to day when she start hearing loud noise from the under the hood and smoke start come out to,so she pooled the car over pup the hood and she see smoke was coming out from the compressor,so she called me I went there and was noting else but the compressor.
so if anyone know any good websites for this part please post the side.
and how difficult is tho change this compressor.

hmm, it sounds like it broke internally, I would pull the compressor, and look to see how much junk got dumped into the condenser. you may need to remove it and the expansion valve as well. flush the entire system with some methanol, and blow it clear with nitrogen. replace compressor and recharge with 12.
