300D Shop Manual Needed

Any recommendations on a good MBZ shop manual specific to the 300D or at least the W-123 models?

20 bucks to get them on CD irectly from Mercedes-Benz of NA. Paper ones are very expensive and hard to find.

i had good luck finding the books used on ebay. search for mercedes manuals and weed thru the cds and look for the books you want. it may take time for the one you want to become available but i got some very good ones and i use the haynes and chiltons when approriate. i also buy them used since most 80s stuff is out of print nowdays. the cd is good for somethings and this forum is priceless too. i have to say this fourm is the same as talking to experienced mechanics (which some of you are. thank God). nothing is worth as much as experience and this forum is your direct line to it. good luck. 86 300SDL and 300D turbo.

I could kick myself. A manual just recently went for $18.00 on e-bay and I forgot to bid on it.
