w126 leaky PS
I'd post this in the tech section; but it seems more people hang around here. I've seen it mentioned somewhere - but a search cameback with nothing:
I tried adjusting the slack in the steering with the nut ontop of the box. Help a little bit; but leaking soon followed. return and high pressure hoses are not leaking. leak is coming from the adjustment ontop of the box (seems tightened down - I'll have to double check) Also - what needs replacement if the steering has to much slack after adjustment (I remember something about a rubber bushing/coupling somewhere)

Just to clarify, you tightened down the lock nut? Otherwise, you may want to take out completely, to see if there is an "o" ring or something in there. I adjusted the '85 300D, very little difference, didn't leak tho.

I'll be sure to tighten and post about it - As of right now it's up on jack stands getting new subframe mounts.

Keep an eye on it, good luck with the subframe.
