Rarely. Right now it's cheaper than gasoline but it's been a very long time since this has happened. Until the last week or so, it's been more expensive than premium gasoline for about the last year.

Exclamation Figure about the same as Unleaded Regular.....

Diesel has recently dropped below the price of RUG by about $0.25 here in West Virginia.....I suspect that this will continue until early next winter when the demand for Home Heating Fuel Oil increases.....

Must depend on the part of the country you are in.
Here in Wisconsin/Minnesota diesel has always been less. At least where I fill up. not by much, few cents at best. Last few weeks gas has gone up and diesel has gone down some. 2.48 for diesel- 3.19 for gas
Hope you enjoy your trip

In my area, (NY) diesel hasn't increased in price like RUG. Now RUG is about 10 to 20 cents more than diesel.

As someone alluded to, Diesel is seasonally priced. Home heating fuel demand drives Diesel pricing in the October through April months in the North. It is not unheard of to see RUG, and even the mid-octane products fall below Diesel then. In Connecticut this year Diesel topped premium gasoline for a while. Jim

Thumbs up

Well we made it back from our road trip to Missouri.Heck what a ride, from Vancouver BC to Mountain View MO,driving through 6 states and visiting everything in between, from Mount Rushmore to Jefferson City it was a great trip.Average fuel consumption 27 mg.I even had my air conditioning changed from R12 to R134 and all well worth it.Average price of fuel all around was between 2.89$ and 3.00$ a gallon. Thanks again for all the great input fellows.
Best Regards
Dan
