W123 door water sheilds
During my weekend efforts to bring the 300D up to road-ready condition, I pulled all of the interior door panels in order to debug the vacuum door locks and power windows. Moronic PO strikes again!
All four doors are missing the plastic water shields completely. The compressed board that makes up the door panels are all mildewed and swollen, and most of the plastic clips remained firmly planted in the metal. I do believe I'll need to scavenge door panels. I'd like to give the guy that left the plastic off a swift kick in a soft spot for each door. As I have nothing to make a template from, and no idea how the plastic would have been arranged around things like the door handle, I'm hesitant to attempt constructing new ones from generic plastic sheet. Does anyone by chance happen to have a part number for these? How about some old tattered ones that I could use for templates?
