Diesel Power Challenge Cantidate

Does anyone else subscribe to the magazine "Diesel Power"? They have this contest every year to see who has the biggest and baddest truck out there. People all over the country send in their pictures and try to get entered into the contest. Although I don't drive a Cummins, PowerJoke, or Duramax they still put me in the magazine with a picture of my beloved Benz. If anyone else subscribes I am on page 144 in the bottom right corner. I am thourghly extatic right now and just wanted to share my joy with others who might appreciate it as much as I do

Here it is. I'm in the process of getting a photo bucket account so I can upload bigger pictures. By the way I have never achieved 30 mpg. I sent this in when I first got the car and so I was going by what the previous owner told us. Oh well. I usually see mid to high 20s even with my heavy right foot.

Thats a nice looking SD and it'll prob still be running when those trucks blow their engines or trans up and kill their rides.

Although it would seem that way, these guys are very unfamiliar with our cars. In one issue they said that a 240 had a turbo. They also did a write up and WVO/SVO and out of all the people, guess who they interviewed....LoveCraft. Oh well. i still enjoy reading it.

I actually did put something about MercedesShop in there. They didn't print it though. There was an "other" section and I put... Proud member of MercedesShop Online Forum. I guess they didn't like that.....

Lame! I sent a picture and specs of my modified 240D to the editor awhile back and never got in. He did write me back though. I also sent my car in to "Euro Tuner" but I guess the lack of body kit and fart pipe disqualified me.
