Crazy Gauge Cluster Idea

We all like to see what our turbo is putting out? or what our EGT is? some even like to see if our battery has enough juice. One problem... not enough room for all those gauges. I got an idea last night and was wondering what you guys think.

My idea is to "extend" the original cluster using some type of fiberglass or Bondo type deal.

Thats the general idea although the gauge layout will be properly spaced and made to look neat. I just threw those on there in MS Paint to get an idea.

How crazy am I?

AMG had the idea of taking an already existing guage cluster and chopping it so it sat shorter and they stuck a bunch of guages in its spot.

It was a nice fit that went in the middle of the dash

Yeah someone had posted a picture of that a while ago. I saw that last night and thought "Why can't I make one of those?"

I'm going to make one out of light walnut and put it in the middle of my dash behind the Temperature sensor.
