it wasnt all that bad. i don't know what was taken off before i got there but i took off the windshield washer bottle. and disconnected all the lines. not many cuts at all from that job. but like i said i don't know what was removed before i got in there. if some one could give me a good overhead pic i can tell ya what was out of the way.

Ok I think I've located the ALDA. I traced the line looking for the
banjo bolt so I could clean it. I came across a plastic sort of bolt/screw.. can someone help me identify it please! ![]() Picture 1 - Have I correctly identified the ALDA? ![]() Picture 2 - following the line from the ALDA... ![]() Picture 3 - The line eventually leadsto this little contraption, which has a black screw on the bottom of it - not metal, feels like hard plastic of some sort. What is this ?? ![]() Picutre 4- Arrow pointing to that same screw. Red line showing the line coming from the ALDA - so I know this device is connected to the ALDA. I started to turn this screw (ccw) and it didn't seem like it was doing anything so I turned it back (cw). I hope I didn't mess anything up. Thanks) |

the ALDA adjustment screw is on top of the alda. Which requires you to tear the metal seal off around it so you can adjust it.
I'm no 603 expert(yet) but I think something has to be removed so it can be adjusted. also when adjusted.. be gentle as the threaded portion is made of 100% brass and will break/strip if not to careful.. |

That's the overboost solenoid or switchover valve. Someone has for some reason mounted it upside-down.
The "screw" you're turning is a cap on the vent, does nothing to turn it. No adjustment on the solenoid, just make sure that the air can flow from one line to the other, often they are fouled/clogged.
