Hot fox tank heater?
I am making a vegetable oil conversion kit for my car and I am buying a plantdrive kit and a seperate 22 gallon RCI plastic fuel tank, the last part I need is a coolant operated tank heater, and the one on plantdrive is a hotfox which costs $209.00 does anyone know where I can find one for less? Or some different tank heater that costs less? My kit will total upto less than $850.00 I hope. Thanks!

How cold does it get where you live? if it doesn`t get to cold to often you may not need to heat the tank and take the chance of getting coolent in your fuel just add a couple of gallons of diesel to the veggie to thin it out when it gets in the low 20`s or lower. Rick

The real reason to use a hotfox or similar is to be able to use fuel that is solid in the winter.

They work great I used one on a Cummins Conversion I did. I picked mine up on eBay I believe and install is <5min as they drop right into any typical fuel tank sender opening (I used a 90gallon marine fuel tank on that one)
