Anyone find themselves stuck with MB habits when driving other cars?

I drove nothing but stick shifts for a long while and one day I got into my fathers Ford and took off down the street and when I put in the clutch to shift (it was and automatic with a foot pedal for the e-brake) I locked up the rear and spun it.

Fortunately nothing around to hit.
