New to the world of Mercedes Diesel.
I just bought a 1967 200D and would like your input on the best Newbie DIY manual for engine mechanical performance and maintenance. Is it MERCEDES, HAYNES, Mercedes diesels for dummies????

I think there was a posting a few months ago about a Service Manual on CD having just been released for the "classic" models including 110 finback chassis. You might do a search on that topic. While I personally prefer the printed manuals, I think they would be pretty scarce nowdays. (But stuff like that turns up on E-Bay or in Hemmings occasionally.)
