IFI Computer 97 E300D

I need to know if the replacement of the IFI computer on my 97 E300d will require any reprogramming? I have been told I need the above computer to clear up some electrical gremilns. Also anyone have a source for a reman computer and a lower cost keyless door lock module? I have emailed Phil but I amtrying to cover all bases.
