Not sure, I was referencing "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" where two characters were arguing over how to paint the soap box race car. One wanted flames and one wanted bunnies... so they compromised and covered the car in flaming bunnies.

I'm supposing that you still have no Idea who my dad is?
he's Roy, one of the guys that work at fastlane
not good with remembering usernames?
whunter:
*Super-moderator
*and he posts 99.9% technical and 0.1% funny.

and wondering about the username?
well, on Rolls-Royce forums he had it originally as rhunter, but they kept changing it to whunter (William was his name when he was a kid, but now it's his middle name.) and I suppose to make it simpler he just used again here.

Welcome to the forum!
I think everybody who has posted more than 10 times on here is familiar with Roy. heck we even get to look at his mug when we click on the fastlane link... anyway my daughter is 9 days older than you and her favorite car is the 79 300 TD it's pastel blue and she loves it because of the manual sunroof and all. her favorite phrase lately is "I like pie" she helps me working on the cars, and she is pretty familiar with the tools. she is not a member of the forum yet though. her name is Valerie.

Welcome to the forum. Your dad has really helped a lot of people over the years. That is one of the signs of a good father and person.
I have four daughters much older than you now. The youngest is thirty. The second youngest always wanted to help in whatever I was doing for many, many years.
For starters with your dads permission you could read about detailing cars on this site for example. There must be many interesting secrets to learn. He might even let you practice on his car.
I imagine dad is a little short of time to do it himself. I know when my daughters where around your age I too was awfully busy sometimes. Enjoy your summer vacation time.

I help dad out with cars too, but I mainly bring him the tools, occasionally I take pics, and in a very rare event I'll help undo a bolt or nail some wood together.
