Squeaky driver's door W124
My car has this annoying squeaky/crunching noise when opening and closing the door. I've tried using spray lithium but no such luck in stopping the noise.
It seems to be worse on hot days than cold. Thanks, Jeff 1991 300d, 107k

You need a new door check - simple job and very DIY. You'll need about an hour.
