its a passat wagon, get one at www.autoscout24.de. They are not worth much in Germany...

You can put a few different thing in them. I think they did come with a 5 cylinder though, and maybe a turbo. I would be a cool rig with a turbo 5 cylinder in it.

They were available with a 1.8l 4cyl TD. Even those aren't worth much because it's much easier to swap a Jetta TD into a Vanagon.
Drives in an Audi 5000 and 5cyl Quantum kept me away from MB Diesels for years. Those 5 bangers just didn't feel right. Nothing I can quantify, pardon the pun. It's like prefering green over orange. Then I happened upon a cheap 81 SD and, by golly, it is possible for a 5 banger to feel right Sixto 87 300D |
