ALDA unit

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good source where I could get and ALDA other than the dealer.

Next time I am in the boneyard I will check the ones there. If they hold pressure, I will pull one for you...

This is for a 617?

You won't be able to buy a new one without also getting an injection pump attached to it. Your only option is to get a used one.

1) Salvage yard, particulary Pick-n-Pull places

2) Contact Aaron, aka "speedy300Dturbo"... he has had them for sale in the past.

3) Jim Friesen sells seal kits to fix your leaky ALDA, and has sold "rebuilt" ones in the past for pretty cheap.

4) Like FI said, you can't buy one from the dealer. But you could get one from a Bosch shop. I wouldn't want to pay for a new one - not worth it.
