Question ALDA adjust causing higher highway RPM??

I just tweaked the ALDA in my car, with a noticeable increase in off-the-line performance. BUT, I have also noticed that it runs at higher RPM's at highway speeds than it did before (3400 vs. 3200 at 70mph), AND, it seems to have less pick-up once at highway speeds. I reversed the adjustment by 50%, and I've found that the highway RPM's are lower, and highway acceleration has improved.

So, by adjusting the ALDA, am I just trading highway performance for better low speed performance?

Has anyone else noticed/experienced this? Any ideas? Maybe the turbo boost is inadequate?

Adjusting the ALDA will also tweak how the throttle works. You are probably just giving it the amount of throttle you were used to.
