Can someone look at this pic and tell me which hole should have timing "lineup" pin??

can any of u tell me which one of these holes on the front of this 300 sdl should have the timing line-up pin?

this is the only thing i have to go on so far to understand what's supposed to be there. I had to crop this quite a bit to meet the site quota but the pin depicted is in a piece sticking out from the front of the engine. The front of the 603 has three similar places where this pin could go. If there's a bracket on the 300 SDL i guess i could go to mercedes dealer and see if they know what's supposed to be there. Was hoping someone on here (in the real world) would know.

ON that engine the TDC alignment "bracket" is on the RIGHT (passenger) side of the engine.
