Anyone know if the W126 lights found on ebay/websites (for $15.00) will fit on my W123? They look very similar. http://stores.channeladvisor.com/kayee2501/Items/cl-w126-8091-c?

A couple of days ago, when cruising down the highway....I lost my front corner light (mine are/were white, not orange). I was so happy to be going 65mph in my 240, I refused to stop and pick up the pieces.

I talked to Phil on fastlane and he was very helpful.....only problem is I don't have $130 and 6 weeks to wait for new ones from Germany.

Any suggestions or parts for sale? Many thanks to the forum...this place is great.

No, sorry, they are not interchangeable. I don't recall seeing a clear/white side marker on a 123, so to replace I'm sure is going to be a problem.

thanks for the responses. I figured as much.....but before I spent the $130 (which is sorely needed on other areas of the car), I wanted to check with those in the know.

Yeah, the white markers are strange. I'm assuming a PO changed them? It's not a Euro model either.

Anybody know why they sell cheap w126 corners and not w123s? Supply and demand I suppose. Just seems odd (and terribly unfortunate).

They have the clear corner lights for W123s on ebay all the time.

Personally, I like the yellow ones better than the white ones. I think I only paid about $50 each when I replaced my yellow lights.

thanks for the tips....unfortunately, nothing turned up on ebay or katmac (left clear markers). Plenty of w124 and w126 lenses....but not much for 123's.

I guess somebody parting out is my cheapest option.
